About us

Built for the music that hasn't been discovered yet.

Our mission

PitchToPlaylist exists to close the gap between great independent music and the people who would love it. We believe the next wave of artists shouldn't need a major label, a big budget, or an algorithm on their side, just passion and music worth hearing and the right people willing to support it.

We're building a space where artists get honest feedback, curators discover music that fits their sound, and listeners find tracks before they blow up. A place where the feedback is real and the community actually means something.

Our vision

A world where the quality of your music determines who hears it and not the size of your followers. Where independent curators are recognised and rewarded for their taste. Where listeners are part of the discovery chain, not just passive consumers.

We're starting with playlist pitching because that's where the gap is most obvious. But PitchToPlaylist is building toward something bigger. We want to create a full ecosystem where independent music finds its audience, and the people who help it get there are acknowledged for the work they do.

What we sell — and what we don't

PitchToPlaylist is a feedback service. When an artist submits a track, they are paying for a curator's time, attention, and honest professional opinion. That's it. Playlist placement is never sold, guaranteed, or promised. If a curator adds a track to their playlist, it's because they genuinely believe it belongs there — not because someone paid for it.

Curators are compensated for the quality of their feedback, not for accepting tracks. A thoughtful decline is worth just as much as an acceptance. We actively monitor feedback quality and response rates so artists always get real value from every submission, regardless of the outcome.

How we think about fairness

Artists pay credits to request feedback from curators. Curators receive credits for giving real, thoughtful feedback. Credits that aren't earned — submissions that go unanswered — are refunded automatically. We validate every playlist that wants to accept premium submissions, ensuring artists are working with real, active curators with genuine audiences.

We're still early. The platform is growing, the rules are evolving, and we're listening closely. If something doesn't feel right, tell us.
